Personal data
Privacy policy
What personal data we collect through pinch-of-love.com, why and for how long we keep it, and what your rights are.
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is Shtipka Lyubov - Pleven EOOD, UIC 205372775, VAT No. BG205372775, registered office 20 General Skobelev, entr. G, fl. 8, apt. 31, Pleven 5800, Bulgaria.
Pinch of Love restaurant: bul. Ruse 37A, Pleven, Bulgaria. Phone: 0885 062 951. Email: [email protected].
Catering requests
When you send a request from the catering page, we receive your name and phone number, your email (if you give it), the date of the event, the number of guests, your notes and the items you chose.
We use them to answer your request and agree the order with you. Legal basis: steps you asked for before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).
The request arrives as an email in the restaurant's inbox. If you gave your email, we send you a copy. These emails contain no advertising.
Without a name and a phone number we cannot reach you, so they are required. Everything else is optional.
Table bookings
When you book a table on the contact page, we receive your name and phone number, your email (if you give it), the day and time, the number of people, whether you want a table inside or in the garden, and your note.
We use them to call you and confirm the booking. Legal basis: steps you asked for before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The booking is kept in the site's database, seen only by staff in the admin area, and a notice about it goes to the restaurant's staff group in Telegram.
News and offers by email
If you subscribe, we keep your email, your language, where you subscribed (at the bottom of the site or in the catering form), when you confirmed and the wording you agreed to.
We send you discounts, offers and news from Pinch of Love. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 261 of the Bulgarian Electronic Communications Act).
You are added to the list only after you confirm with the link in the email we send you.
You can unsubscribe at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us. Unsubscribing does not affect emails sent before it.
When you browse the site
The site uses two statistics tools: Google Analytics (by Google Ireland Limited) and Microsoft Clarity (by Microsoft). They are switched on only if you press “Accept” in the cookie notice. If you decline, nothing of them is loaded and no cookies are set. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Google Analytics sets the cookies “_ga” and “_ga_…” and records the pages you view, the type of device and browser, your approximate location (country and city) and where you came from. Its advertising features are not switched on.
Microsoft Clarity sets the cookies “_clck” and “_clsk” (and Microsoft cookies: CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM) and shows how the site is used: where you click, how far you scroll, where you move the pointer, and it makes recordings of visits. What you type in the forms (name, phone, email, notes) is not recorded – it is masked in your browser and never sent to Clarity. Microsoft has access to the Clarity data.
You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page. If you decline, the cookies of both tools on our address are deleted. We use no advertising cookies and have no Facebook Pixel or similar services.
The order you put together on the catering page is kept only in your browser until you clear it. We receive it only when you send it.
The servers the site runs through record technical data for every visit (IP address, browser, time) to keep the site running securely. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies are used only when staff sign in to the site's admin area.
Who else sees the data
We use providers that process the data only on our instructions:
- Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) – sends the site's emails and keeps the subscriber list. Emails are sent from Ireland (EU), but data may also be stored in the USA. The transfer is covered by the safeguards GDPR requires, under the data processing agreement with Resend.
- Google (Gmail) – the inbox where we receive the requests.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland) – statistics about visits, only if you agree. Data may also be transferred to the USA under the safeguards GDPR requires.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) – how the site is used (recordings of visits and click maps), only if you agree. Data may also be transferred to the USA under the safeguards GDPR requires.
- Telegram – the restaurant's staff group that receives notices of new bookings.
- Supabase (servers in Frankfurt, Germany) – the site's database, where bookings are kept.
- DigitalOcean (servers in Frankfurt, Germany) and Cloudflare – the site's servers and delivery.
We do not sell your data or give it to other companies for their advertising.
How long we keep it
- Catering requests – up to 2 years after our last contact with you, unless the law requires longer (for example accounting records for an order).
- Table bookings – up to 1 year after the date of the booking.
- Subscription – until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email on the list of unsubscribed addresses, so that we do not write to you again.
- Statistics (Google Analytics) – the “_ga” cookies stay in your browser for up to 2 years unless you delete them or decline; the detailed data about visits is kept in Analytics for up to 14 months.
- Statistics (Microsoft Clarity) – recordings of visits are kept for 30 days, and recordings we pick plus the click maps for up to 9 months (under Clarity's rules).
- Technical server records – briefly, according to the providers' rules.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction or portability. You can object to the processing – and to advertising emails always, without giving a reason. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Write to us at [email protected] or call 0885 062 951. We answer within one month.
You have the right to complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection: 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., Sofia 1592, www.cpdp.bg.
